| Unlocking the file |

Select 'Open' from the 'File' menu
|
|
| You will see the file name appear in the 'Response' window |
|

Select the encryption key to use (Details) |
|
3. |
Click anywhere on the Deadbolt image to unlock the file |
|
| 4. |
Yyou will see 'wait' cursor while the file is unlocked. when finished, you will see the 'Deadbolt' image move to the unlocked position, and a confirmation message appear in the 'Response' window. |

If you attempt to lock or unlock a file without selecting a keyfile you will see the following message in the 'Response' window

If you attempt to lock or unlock a file with no file you will see the following message in the 'Response' window |

If you attempt to use a key that you do not own, or have not properly exported to a different machine, you will see the following error. |
